Set beside Ireland’s magnificent Lakes of Killarney, The Europe Hotel & Resort is a five-star haven of luxury and comfort, from which guests can enjoy the splendid surroundings of Ireland’s spectacular scenery while relaxing in the hotel’s decadent amenities. Fashionizer has enjoyed a long working relationship with the The Europe Hotel & Resort since 2011 and is now responsible for almost all their staff uniforms.

Given the hotel’s reputation for relaxed luxury, Fashionizer knew it was important to create uniforms that reflect the hotel’s warm personality and unsurpassed luxury, while giving a nod to the rugged beauty of Ireland that lies at the heart of the hotel’s charm.

Fashionizer’s Solution

The Fashionizer team worked to encapsulate a traditional Irish feel in the uniforms, while remaining stylish, comfortable, and flattering to wear. Fashionizer wanted to reflect the hotel’s commitment to excellence through a smart aesthetic, while also maintaining a feeling of warmth and tradition to reflect the spectacular Irish scenery that surrounds the hotel itself.

Front of house staff wear tailored tartan jackets in shades of classic brown, with an understated hint of yellow to elevate the traditional feel of Irish tartan with a contemporary pop of colour. Underneath, men wear coordinating trousers and white shirts, with a yellow tie that matches the tartan blazers. Women wear tailored dresses that are finished with a tartan belt at the waist, a coherent detail that pulls the look together with panache.

For housekeeping uniforms, comfortable tunic tops and trousers come in the same brown as the front of house uniforms, finished with contrast piping at the arms and neckline. Brasserie staff wear an exclusive print with colours derived from restaurant environment and bar staff wear brown waistcoats over shirts, with bright gold ties that reflect the pop of colour found in the display of whisky bottles.
