Since opening in March 2025, Treehouse Hotel Manchester has already established itself as a standout destination in the heart of the city. Located near key iconic landmarks such as St. Peter’s Square and the Manchester Art Gallery, this 224-room hotel features whimsical interiors inspired by the charm of a magical forest. The design harmoniously balances comfort and curiosity, creating an unforgettable experience for guests.

In 2022, Fashionizer was entrusted with designing the team member uniforms for this one-of-a-kind hotel. Drawing from its quirky design ethos, the collaboration was crafted to reflect the space’s creative character and the vibrant energy of Manchester.

The Fashionizer Solution

Working with Starwood Hotels internal design team Fashionizer first started developing the uniforms for Treehouse Hotel Manchester, the focus was on creating a relaxed, cohesive style that seamlessly complemented the hotel’s unique feature.

Its free-spirited hospitality is brought to life through every detail of the team’s casual attire. Front of house team members are outfitted in jeans or midi-skirts, complemented by red gingham shirts and denim jackets embellished with red, blue, and yellow buttons — a fusion of both modern casual style with charmingly nostalgic design details. Sustainable fabric choices were incorporated where possible, aligning with both Treehouse Hotel Manchester’s commitment to sustainability while connecting with the local community and Fashionizer’s dedication to responsible design.

Elsewhere, other playful touches include bespoke prints from Treehouse Hotels including vibrant owls adorning shirt collars and plackets, along with embroidered robins on pockets to echo the hotel’s nature-inspired DNA. The use of rich dark blue tones, combined with pops of primary colours, strikes the perfect balance between ease and elegance, ensuring the uniforms are as functional as they are visually appealing.
