Treehouse Hotel, Manchester

The Brief

Since opening in March 2025, Treehouse Hotel Manchester has established itself as a distinctive destination in the heart of the city. Located close to landmarks including St Peter’s Square and Manchester Art Gallery, the 224-room property features whimsical interiors inspired by the magic of a forest, balancing comfort sustainability and curiosity to create an immersive experience for guests.

In 2022, Fashionizer was commissioned to design the custom uniforms for this singular hotel, drawing on its playful design ethos and the vibrant creative energy of Manchester.

The Brief

Fashionizer's Uniform Solution

Working with the SH Hotels & Resorts internal design team, Fashionizer developed a uniform concept built around a relaxed, cohesive aesthetic that reflected the property’s nature-inspired interiors and the free-spirited character of the brand.
The garment palette centred on rich dark blue tones offset by pops of primary colour. Front of house team members wear jeans or midi-skirts paired with red gingham shirts and denim jackets; the jackets are embellished with primary-coloured buttons, fusing contemporary casual style with charmingly nostalgic design details.

Bespoke prints developed in collaboration with Treehouse Hotels brought the property’s nature-inspired DNA directly into the garments. Vibrant owl prints adorn shirt collars and plackets, while embroidered robins on pockets carry the woodland theme throughout the range. Sustainable fabric choices were incorporated where possible, reflecting both the property’s commitment to responsible practice and Fashionizer’s own approach to ethical design.

Fashionizer's Uniform Solution

The Outcome

The finished uniforms bring Treehouse Hotel Manchester’s free-spirited hospitality to life at every guest touchpoint. Visually engaging yet entirely functional, the collection strikes the balance the property required: relaxed enough to complement an informal, nature-led environment, and considered enough for a contemporary city hotel.

Team members have responded warmly to the informality and comfort of the range and are encouraged to personalise the way they wear their uniforms; an approach that marks a deliberate departure from conventional uniform thinking. In a hotel defined by individual character and creative energy, it is a fitting expression of the brand.

The Outcome

What our Clients Say

“At Treehouse Hotel Manchester, we wanted our team’s uniforms to reflect the same warmth, creativity and sense of playfulness that defines our guest experience. Fashionizer understood that instinctively — crafting looks that not only feel authentic to our brand, but also celebrate the spirit of Manchester.”
